The latest Stoater is our most accessible bike in the Stoater family. Built with a high spec custom blend tubing from legendary Italian tube manufacturers Columbus and Dedacciai, the latest model retains the ride quality and performance of previous models in the Stoater range.
All of our Stoaters have been designed as versatile bikes at home on road, towpaths, singletrack and pretty much any terrain you can throw at it, this Stoater is no exception. With a full complement of braze-ons and a stable but comfortable ride, the Stoater makes an exceptional performance touring or gravel bike.
We wanted this bike to be an antidote to the uninspiring touring bikes of yesterday. Now you don't have to sacrifice fun and speed for stability and load carrying capabilities. The Stoater, because of the carefully designed geometry and tubeset, gives you everything you want in a predictable, fast tourer.
But versatility is key with this bike, that's why your as likely to see a Stoater doing an Alpine tour in the summer as you are lapping the local 'cross race loop in the winter. The mudguard and rack options make the Stoater the perfect choice for your daily commute too. We find that the bigger, more comfortable tyres also open up some alternative routes into work that you might not have considered. This does mean that you might like to leave for work a little earlier than normal though!
This next-generation Stoater now has 12mm thru-axle dropouts front and rear as standard as well as utilising the new road specific FlatMount brake specification.
You can upgrade to use our tried and tested 100+ drivetrain platform. This consists of modular dropouts, modular cable guides and PF30 bottom bracket shell. The modular dropouts allow you to swap out brake mount fittings (Post Mount, Flat Mount etc), switch between QR and bolt-thru or even upgrade to an Internal Gear Hub like a Rohloff. The modular dropouts also add compatibility for a beltdrive transmission. The PF30 BB as part of the 100+ system lets you run an eccentric bottom bracket for incredibly easy belt or chain tensioning for the ultimate singlespeed or hubgear.Note some of the images on this page show some upgrades (such as modular dropouts and wheels) and do not reflect the base model.

Unless otherwise agreed, all complete bikes will be setup with 10mm of spacers under the stem. Stem lengths and seatpost types (layback or inline) are frame size specific to enable maximum amount of adjustability. We can provide a dimensioned drawing of final setup on request.

The Stoater comes as standard in our Grey or Bright Red finish with black graphics. Other colours as well as metallic and matte finishes are available for an additional charge. Full custom graphic option are also available on this model, contact us for a quote.
