On Sunday 28 April 2019 our team will be heading out to the iconic Loch Ness for this years’ 66 mile closed-road route around the famous Scottish landmark.
The race starts and finishes in the Highland capital of Inverness, and there is a timed King of the Mountain stage, with a 4.8 mile climb gaining 380m in height with a gradient reaching 12% at times. Should be fun – more information visit their website www.etapelochness.com.
We are delighted that a team of cyclists from our parent company, the GFG Alliance, will be using our own bikes to race – so watch out for the Shand bikes along the route!
In addition, we would like to invite anyone needing mechanical assistance or technical help to come and see us. Our two CyTech qualified members of staff will be on hand to assist everyone – just look out for the Shand stand in the Event Village and one of our team will be waiting with a smile!
If there are any urgent parts that are needed they can be purchased on the day at the Cycle Republic stand.
