forks, forks, forks

It seems lke I’m getting asked for a ton of of forks these days. All sorts of stuff, road forks with fancy crowns, old school curved blade unicrowns and new tapered blade 29er forks. All good. I finally replaced my very old crotchety fork jig with a nice new Anvil jig. That should speed things up a bit.

Another thing I’m getting asked for a lot is to build a 29er fork for a 26″ wheel mountain bike. If you’ve got suspension geometry, you can often replace the suspension front fork with a rigid fork that will take a 29er wheel without messing up the geometry too much. Of course this doesn’t work for every frame but if you fancy giving it a try, get in touch.
