picked up a new jig/fixture this week. It was built for me a really nice guy called Joe Bringheli. Joe’s in Ohio and has been really helpful with getting me sorted with this new jig. I’m still undecided on the best way to mount it but so far I’ve got it on my roof hanging workstand. This workstand is on a hinge thing and normally swings up flush against the ceiling when not in use to free up some space but the new jig now hanging in it weighs about a trillion kg so I’m not able to swing it out of the way.
Anyway, I used it in anger for the first time today and it’s all working out pretty good. Really speeds up the setting out and tacking process. My older jig took waaaay too long to setup. I’ll try and post some pictures when I’ve got some time.
